About The Role

As a Gourmet Sales Account Manager, you will be the face of Barry Callebaut for our Gourmet brands, including Callebaut®, Cacao Barry®, Mona Lisa®, and more. You will manage and grow relationships with customers in the artisan and professional chocolate segment — including pastry chefs, chocolatiers, bakeries, hotels, restaurants, and distributors. Your mission is to drive sales growth, strengthen brand presence, and deliver best-in-class service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Develop and manage a portfolio of gourmet customers and distributors, ensuring excellent service and sustainable growth.
  • Business Development: Identify and target new business opportunities within the artisan and professional segments.
  • Sales Execution: Achieve sales targets through effective planning, forecasting, and execution of commercial actions.
  • Customer Relationship: Build strong relationships with chefs, business owners, and decision-makers to promote our brands and drive loyalty.
  • Market Insights: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategy and innovation.
  • Training & Support: Collaborate with the Chocolate Academy and Technical Advisors to provide product training, demos, and marketing support.
  • Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and customer insights to internal stakeholders.

About You

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in foodservice, gourmet, or hospitality industries.
  • Passion: A passion for chocolate, pastry, and the gourmet food world is a strong plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach.
  • Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
