As a Treasury Officer, you will play an integral role in managing the organization's financial assets and liabilities. You are tasked with supporting the company's financial operations to optimize cash flow and mitigate risk. You will be responsible for processing and analyzing financial transactions, drafting detailed financial reports, and ensuring that all financial activities comply with industry regulations and standards. This role demands a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail as you will also develop strategies to enhance the use of financial resources. You will collaborate closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure efficient liquidity management and oversee the execution of transactions involving foreign currencies. You will be expected to maintain efficient working relationships with financial institutions and other external stakeholders. By managing cash forecasting and executing investment plans, you will aid in achieving our overall financial objectives. Your expertise will be crucial not only for maintaining the company's financial health but also for identifying opportunities to generate improved returns on investments.
Responsibilities
Monitor and manage daily cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
Develop and execute effective treasury policies and procedures for financial management.
Conduct regular analysis of the organization's financial status and generate relevant reports.
Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
Manage banking relationships to maintain optimum service and support for financial operations.
Oversee the execution of foreign exchange transactions to minimize currency risk.
Collaborate with other departments to support and enhance their financial strategies.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and company policies.
Develop strategies for optimizing investment portfolios to yield maximum returns.
Manage debt financing and treasury's related borrowings as per the organization's needs.
Implement financial system enhancements to improve treasury operations efficiency.
Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate efficient auditing of financial transactions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is mandatory.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in treasury or financial management.
Proven knowledge of financial instruments and treasury management practices.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
Proficiency in financial analysis software and familiarity with ERP systems.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within stipulated timeframes.
