About the Role

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be the digital voice of the festival before, during, and after the event. You’ll work with content creators, creatives, on‐ground producers, and influencers to deliver high‑impact content and live activations. You’ll own the social media experience for one of the UAE’s most vibrant public festivals.

This is a 4 month contract, including a ~1‑month on‑site stay during the festival period (accommodation, meals & basic on‑site amenities provided). 🏕️

What You’ll Do

• 📅 Develop & manage a dynamic social media content plan across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms (pre, during, post).
• 📸 Lead live content capture and posting during the festival — stories, reels, BTS, audience moments.
• 💬 Engage the online community in real time — respond to comments, moderate interactions, foster connection.
• 🎨 Collaborate with designers, videographers, influencers, and on‑ground producers to produce fresh, relevant daily content.
• ✔️ Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and campaign objectives.
• 📊 Track content performance, derive insights, and produce weekly reports.
• 🤝 Liaise with influencer managers for amplified reach and cross‑promotion.
• 💡 Contribute to creative ideation and trend spotting throughout the festival lifecycle.
• 🚀 Support approvals, scheduling, and rapid publishing workflows on‑site.

About You

You are a digital‑first storyteller with festival or large public event experience. You thrive in fast environments, under pressure, and care deeply about brand, creative quality, and audience connection.

• 4+ years managing social media for festivals, entertainment or lifestyle brands.
• Skilled in live posting, video formats, behind‑the‑scenes content.
• Familiar with regional & local digital trends, especially Instagram & TikTok.
• Excellent writing skills and captioning.
• Fluent in English & Arabic (Arabic required).
• Ready to work on‑site for ~1 month during the festival period.
• Flexible with working evenings & weekends around live event schedule.
