Position Overview: Senior Project Engineer – Oil & Gas, Wellhead Projects

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. Responsible for maintaining the Project Tracker Sheet (PTS) and provides project controls to support planning, procurement and execution, ensuring projects progress on schedule. Develops and tracks detailed schedules, assigns and monitors critical tasks, and escalates delays and resource conflicts. Issues RFQs and coordinates material deliveries to the warehouse, prepares weekly status reports and presents progress at meetings, and maintains stakeholder communication to identify and resolve project roadblocks.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and maintaining the Project Tracker Sheet (PTS) to monitor key elements such as project deliverables, material and subcontract requirements, variation logs, and RFI logs. Support the planning department in developing detailed schedules and assigns critical tasks to team members using task management tools, ensuring progress is tracked and concerns are escalated when necessary. Responsible for initiating RFQs for all materials and subcontracts, ensuring the inclusion of all required supporting documentation. Weekly status reports are issued and presented during progress meetings, with any risks or delays clearly highlighted. Coordinating material delivery and following up until materials are received at the warehouse. Regular communication with stakeholders is maintained to identify and resolve any project roadblocks.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Wellhead projects
• PMP certification will be preferred
