Position Overview

Job Description – Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of Access Control and GRMS system projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, as well as providing technical expertise in system design, installation, testing, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution
    • Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work.
    • Develop project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation plans.
    • Coordinate with procurement and logistics for timely delivery of equipment and materials.


    • Ensures appropriate service/ installation centre standards are developed and maintained.
    • Technical & Engineering
      • Design, configure, and implement access control and GRMS systems.
      • Proficiency in Access control and GRMS protocols such as OSDP, Weigand, KNX etc.
      • Proficiency in conducting project site surveys to support sales in submitting offers.
      • Support sales team for preparing schematic drawings and Technical/Material submittals for consultant/client approval.
    • Supporting Sales with Product demo to clients.
    • Site Management
      • Supervise site installation teams and subcontractors to ensure adherence to standards.
      • Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning.
    • Ensures customer satisfaction, quality results are met and maintains strong working relationships with customers.
    • Planning everyday service with coordinator and team & executing same remotely or on site.
    • Installing Mockups/ New projects for Locks and Safes & other products of Group Attending warranty/ break down / SLA support calls remotely or with site visits.
    • Supervise external installation teams daily to achieve quality results & reaching milestone on timely basis.
    • Testing & Commissioning


    • Commissioning & Installation of Guest room, BOH access control and GRMS system on stipulated time in projects.
    • Ensure proper integration of our products.
    • Evaluate and validate system functionality.
    • Conduct training sessions and demonstrations for customers, technicians, and facility managers on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our products.
    • Documentation, Reporting and Post Handover activities.
    • Maintain project progress reports and update management regularly.
    • Prepare drawings, operation manuals and training manuals.
    • Ensure proper closeout and handover of projects.


    • Taking full ownership of a Project till final handover & completion certificates are issued.
    • Coordinate with sales by sharing info to generate AMC with customers.
Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.
  • Should have 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge about network diagnostic and analysis.
  • Familiarity with various communication protocols used in door access control systems.
