Music Composer

A vocalist is seeking a composer to professionally score an original song written in a musical theatre style. The piece has characteristics of a patter song and draws inspiration from klezmer and jazz, with an emphasis on brass and energetic musical phrasing. Requirements

• Proven experience in composing for musical theatre and classical settings
• Strong ability to score music with complex rhythmic and melodic phrasing
• Familiarity with klezmer and jazz influences, especially brass arrangements
• Skilled in orchestration and notation using professional scoring software
• Ability to interpret a vocal-led concept and translate it into a compelling arrangement
• Must be comfortable working collaboratively and remotely
• Portfolio of relevant compositional work required
