Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to lead our Emergency Department nursing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient care activities, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the emergency nursing team during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital policies and evidence-based practices.
• Ensure appropriate triage, assessment, and treatment of emergency patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, including guidance during high-pressure or critical situations.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Maintain staffing levels and adjust assignments to meet patient care demands.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities.
• Support onboarding and training of new staff and students.
  
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current and valid nursing license
• Minimum 6 years of nursing experience, with Team Leading exposure in Specialized area
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure environments.
