As a Structural BIM Technician, you will become an integral part of our team, bringing cutting-edge technology and innovative thinking to the forefront of structural design and construction processes. You’ll employ Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to produce detailed and accurate structural drawings, enabling efficient project planning, visualization, and execution. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction professionals, you’ll transform conceptual designs into precise 3D models, ensure all structural designs align with project scopes, and contribute to the seamless coordination of design documents. You will also maintain the integrity of data throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all modifications are accurately depicted in structural models. Your role extends beyond just drafting—you’ll actively participate in problem-solving, propose design improvements, and ensure all deliverables meet stringent quality standards. By effectively utilizing your skills in BIM software, you’ll help streamline project workflows, reduce risks, and optimize project outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Develop highly detailed 3D BIM models for structural projects using BIM software tools.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate structural designs with other project elements.
  • Ensure all structural designs comply with regulatory codes and industry standards.
  • Generate accurate construction documents, including plans, sections, and details.
  • Conduct quality checks on models and drawings to maintain design accuracy.
  • Coordinate model exchange among design teams to ensure cohesive project updates.
  • Identify potential design conflicts and notify relevant team members promptly.
  • Regularly update BIM models to reflect changes in project scope or design alterations.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining BIM project execution plans.
  • Utilize clash detection tools to identify and resolve design issues early in the process.
  • Provide continuous technical support and training to project team members on BIM methodologies.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project progress and address technical queries.


Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a BIM Technician or Revit Technician.
  • Proficient in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
  • Strong understanding of structural systems and construction methodologies essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical details effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment is important.
  • Strong attention to detail ensuring all designs meet high-quality standards.
