Responsibilities

• Perform root canal treatments to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and surrounding tissues.
• Use advanced technology and techniques to effectively clean, shape, and fill root canals.
• Manage complex cases requiring endodontic surgery or retreatment.
• Evaluate and provide treatment plans for patients with traumatic dental injuries affecting the dental pulp.
• Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on oral health and proper post-treatment care to ensure successful outcomes.
• Stay current on the latest developments and research in the field of endodontics.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines in all aspects of practice.

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
• Specialized training in endodontics from an accredited program
• State licensure as an endodontist
• Board certification in endodontics (optional but preferred)
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in the latest endodontic techniques and technologies
