Job Description

The role of a Social Studies Teacher is pivotal in the educational sector as it involves imparting vital knowledge about history, geography, civics, and societies to students.   • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and issues.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to integrate cross-curricular teaching methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with a focus on Social Studies.
  • Valid state teaching certification or licensure appropriate for social studies teaching.
  • Previous teaching experience in social studies or related subjects is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging students and parents.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and multimedia teaching tools.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current in educational trends.
