About The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer for our Abu Dhabi banking team. Your role will focus on building reliable backend systems to support the Bank’s Digital Transformation programmes.

Technical skills:

Required:

• To be an expert in JVM (Java or Kotlin), and the Spring ecosystem
• Experience with relational databases + SQL, familiarity with ORM frameworks
• Knowledge of messaging platforms like Kafka
• Designing and building scalable microservices
• Usage of observability tools
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  
  

Nice to have experience (Optional):

• NoSQL databases
• Kubernetes and Helm
• Experiences with AWS cloud services
• Spring Cloud framework
• Fintech or banking domain background
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Excellent communication skills in English
