Senior Planner - Marine

Job Description

WSP is looking for a Senior Marine Planner to join our team in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules for marine infrastructure projects (e.g., ports, jetties, quay walls).
• Utilize advanced planning tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment for marine construction projects.
• Forecast resource needs and align them with project milestones.
• Track project progress against baseline schedules.
• Generate detailed progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders, including ADPC.
• Identify potential delays and provide solutions to mitigate impacts on schedules.
• Work closely with design, construction, and procurement teams to ensure alignment with project schedules.
• Coordinate with marine engineers and contractors to integrate project phases.
• Ensure project schedules comply with client requirements and contractual obligations.
• Identify risks affecting timelines and recommend corrective actions.
  
  
  

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning for marine infrastructure.
• At least 5 years of experience in UAE
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications such as PMP or PSP are highly preferred.
• Expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Knowledge of delay analysis methodologies like TIA or Window Analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
