Senior Consulting Cloud Architect

Job Purpose

The Senior Consulting Cloud Architect has a primary focus on Microsoft Azure with a secondary focus on Microsoft M365 and Microsoft Copilot. This role plays a critical role in advising clients on the best cloud solutions to meet their business needs and materialize it by developing the proper presentations, documentations, RFx responses and proposals that convinces the business and technical stakeholders about the proposed solution.

Job Description

Service Consultancy

• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, providing expert guidance on Microsoft Azure capabilities and best practices.
• Set vision: Use your technical knowledge to show customers an inspiring digital vision, across all Microsoft workloads, as well as deeper engagement in your core technology specialty – Microsoft Azure.
• Build strategy: Map the agreed customer vision into a strategy for implementation, resolving concerns, removing technical blockers, and validating a strong business case for investment. Work with the customer, wider account team resources and our partners to orchestrate a roadmap for implementation.
• Deliver customer engagements: Prepare and deliver technical engagements to enterprise customers. These include business envisioning, solution envisioning, architecture design, rapid prototype, and Hackathon. Work collaboratively with account teams to determine the best engagements for a given opportunity to maximize customer benefit and accelerate deals success.

Solution Approach

• Guide business and technical decision makers on creating business value on Azure cloud.
• Synthesize business and technical architecture requirements.
• Serve as the go-to technical expert in the cloud Azure space for the regional sales team.
• Solution design: Use technical knowledge, architectural approach, consultancy skills and our methodology to win a customer's technical decision to buy and use Microsoft solutions and cloud services.
• Design and Implementation: Architect and deploy Azure cloud.
• Compliance Management: Configure and maintain compliance of workloads on Microsoft Azure compliance to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Solution Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for designed solutions, including architecture diagrams, configuration settings and operational procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Azure features, security updates, and compliance regulations, incorporating enhancements into existing solutions and advising clients on potential impacts.
• Design secure, scalable, and cost-effective technical solution architecture and scope of work that meet clients' requirements and adhere to industry best practices.
• Develop and own the technical proposals/ responses.
• Coordinate with the service delivery team to ensure the customer expectations are met.
• Ensure the security of cloud architecture, in compliance with data privacy regulations and other relevant standards.

Business Enablement

• Develop different technical materials and Educate customers on the value of Bespin Global proposition.
• Deliver webinars on emerging technologies.
• Conduct proof of concept’s and implement pilot projects to support different cloud features & services.

Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners to enhance collaboration and sales opportunities.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
• Act as customer consultant of the new trends and services and advise on the best model to adopt while launching a new service
• Emphasize on Bespin's products & services in discussions with potential customers and partners to direct opinions and inspire action.

Compliance

• Comply with the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ISO 27001 requirements, and actively participate in regular training and audits to ensure continuous alignment with the standard

Job Specification

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience in Microsoft Azure

Additional Qualifications

• 5+ years of AWS experience in a Pre-Sales/ Solutions Architect/ Technical Sales role

Professional Certifications

• Microsoft Azure Certifications

Knowledge

• Structured facilitator: validated customer experience in requirements capture; prioritization; capturing evidence and impact to quantify business value; issue, risk and constraint identification.
• Technical breadth: intermediate level experience across the full range of Microsoft cloud solutions- Azure infrastructure, Azure Developer, Azure data, artificial intelligence, business applications, modern workplace and productivity, security, business applications. Demonstrated experience of solution architectures which span multiple workloads.
• Design thinking: proven experience of delivering design thinking; 'ideation'; or similar context analysis/ problem framing.
• Technical depth: experience as a solutions architect or equivalent in Microsoft's modern workplace toolset.
