Job Title: Section Head – Capital Projects Procurement
The Section Head – Capital Projects Procurement is responsible for leading and managing all procurement activities related to capital projects, working in close coordination with project owners, internal stakeholders, and external service providers. This role ensures that procurement processes are conducted in full compliance with established standards, policies, and regulatory frameworks, while upholding principles of transparency, efficiency, and value for money.
A key function of the role is to oversee end-to-end procurement planning, execution, and contract management processes, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and objectives. The Section Head provides expert guidance on procurement strategy, supporting the development of procurement plans that meet both technical requirements and strategic priorities.
In addition to operational oversight, the Section Head offers commercial insights and advisory support to facilitate informed and effective decision-making. This includes market analysis, risk assessment, and the application of procurement best practices to optimize supplier performance and contract outcomes.
Through strategic leadership and cross-functional collaboration, the Section Head – Capital Projects Procurement plays a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of capital projects while safeguarding compliance, promoting accountability, and contributing to overall project and organizational success.
