Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer specializing in Air Compressors and Diesel Engines to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for sales, capable of providing expert guidance to our clients. Your primary role will be to drive sales and develop strong relationships with new and existing customers by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions. You will work closely with the engineering and product development teams to ensure that customer requirements are met efficiently and effectively. This position requires a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills to deliver outstanding service and support for our products.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the air compressors and diesel engines sector.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key industry players.
  • Analyze market trends to identify customer needs and product potential.
  • Present, promote, and sell products using solid arguments to prospective customers.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to clients.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to meet these needs.
  • Conduct product training sessions and demonstrations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate forecasts of sales revenue and track sales performance metrics.
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies to enhance product visibility.
  • Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote our brand.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and innovative technologies in air compressors and diesel engines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales within the air compressors and diesel engines industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of air compressor and diesel engine functions and applications.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts diligently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
