Job Description

As a Retail Sales Promoter, you will play a vital role in driving sales and customer engagement by promoting and demonstrating products in a retail environment. Your primary goal will be to attract potential customers, enhance their shopping experience, and ultimately increase sales figures for the company’s products you represent. The role requires a dynamic and outgoing individual who is skilled at understanding customer needs, as well as providing exceptional service and product knowledge. You will need to be comfortable working independently and proactively, while also being a team player. As part of the retail sales team, your enthusiasm for the products and your persuasive communication skills will contribute significantly to creating loyal customers and achieving overall sales targets.


Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and promote products to customers within a retail environment.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Provide detailed product information and answer customer queries effectively.
  • Achieve daily and monthly sales targets as set by the management.
  • Assist in maintaining the visual merchandising standards of the store.
  • Participate in promotions and marketing activities to boost product visibility.
  • Gather feedback from customers and report insights to improve sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with store staff to improve cross-selling of complementary products.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of product displays and demo areas.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and track inventory levels as required.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on product features, pricing, and industry trends to remain competitive.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
  • Familiarity with retail POS systems and inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of various sales techniques and the ability to upsell products.
