Job Description
Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and motivated LC-MS Scientist to join an expanding Chemistry Lab at Khalifa Center for Genetic Engineering, United Arab Emirates University, Al Ain, UAE! As an accomplished Mass Spectrometry specialist, you will uphold a hands-on role within a bioanalytical testing laboratory. Using your previous experience, you will conduct small/large molecule analyses using LC-MS/MS, including mass spectrometers like Triple-Quadrupole, Q-TOF, Orbitrap etc, and associated techniques in support of analysing a range of drugs, proteins, plant hormones, metabolites and environmental pollutants. You will play a key role in running the bioanalytical unit and supervising and training junior students/staff members. The candidate will be expected to design, develop, validate and troubleshoot new LCMS assays and carry out basic instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Minimum Qualification
A relevant degree in Chemistry (Or related subject)
