Registered Nurse - Operating Theater

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Theater team in the UAE. The role involves supporting surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring patient safety before, during, and after operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments according to procedure requirements.

• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations.

• Monitor patient vitals and anesthesia levels during surgery.

• Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols.

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and education to patients.

• Maintain accurate surgical records and documentation.

• Check equipment functionality and report any malfunctions.

• Coordinate with surgical and recovery teams for seamless patient transitions.

• Follow safety standards and emergency protocols.

• Support team communication to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

• Valid license or eligibility is mandatory.

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an operating theater.

• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments.

• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

• Excellent critical thinking and teamwork skills.

• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
