Registered Nurse - Operating Theater

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Operating Theater Nurse to provide high-quality preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons during procedures, ensure a sterile environment, and prioritize patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• prepare operating rooms, equipment, and instruments before surgeries

• assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures

• monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to emergencies

• ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols

• document patient care, procedures, and observations accurately

• provide post-surgery care and support patient recovery

• collaborate with surgical teams for smooth operation flow

• manage surgical instruments and supplies efficiently

• educate patients and families on post-operative care

• participate in ongoing training and skill enhancement

Requirements:

• bachelor's degree in nursing or a diploma in nursing

• valid HAAD license or eligibility

• minimum 2-3 years of experience in an operating theater

• strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterilization, and infection control

• excellent teamwork and communication skills

• ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
