Key Accountabilities
Develop and Execute Quality Assurance Policies: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop, draft, and execute quality assurance policies, procedures, and testing protocols for implementation across all production and manufacturing lines.
Quality Assessment and Inspection: Support manufacturing and production activities by assessing and inspecting the quality of outputs at various stages of production, ensuring compliance with established standards and protocols..
Process Improvement: Ensure correct processes are implemented in line with Quality Assurance protocols to prevent errors in manufacturing or production that may lead to product defects. Investigate causes of defects and suggest improvements in processes to relevant departments for correction and prevention of future defects.
Defect Investigation and Reporting: Investigate causes of defects that occur during the testing phase, report discovered defects, and recommend improvements in processes to relevant departments for corrective action.
Training and Support: Provide tools, techniques, and training to enable others to achieve and maintain quality standards. Identify company-wide training needs and organize training interventions to ensure quality compliance and meet quality standards.
Supplier Quality Management: Specify quality requirements of materials with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards, reduce inspection costs and time, and improve operations efficiency.
Quality Data Analysis: Collect and compile statistical quality data, analyze them to identify root causes, determine patterns, and areas for improvement in the quality system.
Audits and Compliance: Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities. Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers. Evaluate audit findings and develop, recommend, and implement appropriate corrective actions to ensure ongoing compliance with company quality assurance standards and industry regulatory requirements.
Complaint Handling: Investigate complaints and non-conformance issues, maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Documentation and Recordkeeping: Administer accurate and appropriate recording and storage of QA records and associated documentation.
Integrity and Ethics: Commitment to upholding ethical standards in all quality assurance activities, ensuring transparency and honesty in procurement processes.
Planning and Organization: Proficiency in utilizing SAP ERP systems to efficiently plan, organize, and execute quality assurance tasks, ensuring seamless integration with production processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment with quality objectives and standards.
Relationship Building: Commercial awareness to cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers and other external partners, fostering collaborative partnerships that drive continuous improvement in quality outcomes.
Analytical Proficiency: Ability to analyze procurement data effectively, utilizing analytical tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for enhancing procurement processes and supplier quality management.
Knowledge/Qualification & Experience
12 years of experience in in Quality Assurance in a similar role
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing)
Certification as Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma, Certification in ISO 9001
