As the Public Relations Officer at Nokia, you will be the pivotal connection between our organization and UAE government entities, ensuring smooth communication and compliance. You will collaborate closely with our HR and legal teams, playing a crucial role in managing visa and immigration services, as well as maintaining labor and legal compliance. Your expertise will help us navigate the regulatory landscape and foster strong relationships with government officials. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Serve as the key liaison for Nokia with UAE government entities, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee all visa and immigration processes, including applications, renewals, cancellations, and Emirates ID management.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws by maintaining accurate employment contracts and HR practices.
  • Manage documentation, including trade licenses and labor cards, ensuring timely submissions and renewals with authorities.
  • Monitor updates in UAE regulations and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government officials to expedite processes and enhance cooperation.
  • Proactively address and resolve any legal or compliance challenges with government departments.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline operations, improving efficiency and effectiveness within the team.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • This is only open to UAE National applicants
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the UAE.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Deep understanding of UAE labor, immigration, and municipality regulations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, and a valid UAE driving license

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Established relationships with UAE government entities, and previous experience in document management and regulatory updates.
