What the role entails
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Manager to lead our Abu Dhabi-based PR team and drive strategic relationships with our key clients in the region. This is a high-impact role that requires a confident communicator, a strong team leader and a results-driven PR professional with deep industry knowledge.
As the Senior Account Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for client relationship management, team leadership, campaign strategy and execution for all your accounts. You’ll work closely with clients to develop compelling PR solutions and manage a team of talented communicators to deliver consistently outstanding results.
Responsibilities
Client Leadership
Serve as the primary contact for key clients in Abu Dhabi, offering strategic guidance, issue resolution and expert PR counsel.
Develop innovative and insight-led PR plans and campaigns tailored to client goals.
Build strong, long-lasting client relationships that lead to continued business and referrals.
Team & Project Management
Manage and mentor the Abu Dhabi PR team, providing coaching, feedback and leadership across projects.
Set project plans and delegate tasks to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Support team development through training, performance feedback, and on-the-job coaching.
Lead and foster collaboration within and across teams, helping to ensure smooth project delivery.
Campaign Execution
Oversee the development and editing of all campaign materials, including press releases, pitch emails, social media content, interview briefs and more.
Lead and participate in pitching stories to media, managing relationships with key journalists, influencers and industry contacts.
Arrange and facilitate client interviews, editorial meetings, press launches and events.
Track and evaluate campaign performance, reporting on key metrics and recommending adjustments as needed.
Business & Operational Excellence
Oversee administration for all client accounts, including invoicing, contracts, reporting and budgets.
Recommend process improvements where appropriate and ensure best-in-class client service.
Support new business efforts by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals and leading pitches.
Stay on top of market trends, bringing fresh ideas and insights that help our clients and agency stay ahead.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing through Qcademy and learning & development programs.
Participate in senior management meetings and support the Head of Department as needed.
Who you are
Ideally You Will Have
6–8+ years of relevant PR experience (agency experience preferred)
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Proven track record in delivering impactful PR campaigns
An established media network across the UAE (Abu Dhabi experience is a plus)
Strategic mindset with attention to detail and deadline discipline.
