Parts and Accessories Sales

The Parts and Accessories Sales professional is responsible for selling automotive parts and related accessories to customers, dealerships, or service centers. This role requires a deep understanding of vehicle components, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage inventory efficiently. The ideal candidate will drive sales through technical expertise, upselling strategies, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, assess their needs, and recommend appropriate parts and accessories.

• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person in a timely and professional manner.

• Maintain knowledge of current inventory and locate out-of-stock items from suppliers.

• Prepare price quotations and process sales transactions accurately.

• Upsell additional accessories and services to boost revenue.

• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure the correct parts are ordered and delivered.

• Track inventory levels and initiate reorders to maintain optimal stock.

• Handle warranty claims and returns in compliance with company policy.

• Maintain clean, organized displays and promote featured products.

• Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and vehicle models.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or automotive training preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in automotive parts sales or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in using inventory management and POS systems.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and technical manuals.

• Basic computer skills including MS Office applications.

• Detail-oriented with a proactive sales approach.
