Job Summary:
Operations planning Lead – To manage the planning, scheduling, and coordination of all operational activities within the organization and to ensure Demand, Production and Material planning streams function with highest level of efficiency and effectiveness. To work closely with different departments, including Program, supply chain, production, and Finance, to ensure smooth operations, efficient use of resources, and timely delivery of products and services..
Key Accountabilities:
Develop, implement, and manage detailed operational plans to support the timely production and delivery of products. Ensure that all planning aligns with contractual agreements and Business requirements.
Work closely with various departments, including Program, engineering, procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure the integration of production and project schedules and to optimize resource utilization, along creating mitigation actions if needed.
Oversee forecasting of demand and project needs, including materials, labor, and production resources. Ensure that sufficient capacity and resources are available to meet project timelines.
Prepare data and material for monthly Demand and Operations planning meetings that will facilitate decisions around equipment, labor and all other resources needed to support demand over the planning horizon.
Serves as primary point of contact for and liaison with Program, engineering, SCM and Manufacturing department Manage Ensure the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System is aligned and provided real time data for demand fulfilment. To be able to use SAP APO/IBP for demand planning.
Ensure Business units are aligned with the master production plan to ensure accurate material resource planning (MRP).
Identify operational risks related to manufacturing and delivery schedules, including potential supply chain disruptions. Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure project continuity..
Overview and monitor for high-quality, consistent master data to speed up and automate end-to-end business scenarios such as Plan to produce, lead to cash, source to pay, and design to operate
Oversee the management of inventory to ensure that all necessary components, materials, and subassemblies are available for production without delays. Coordinate logistics and shipping schedules for the timely delivery of products to customers
Compile monthly KPI’s through metrics and system data from various departments..
Promote and implement lean manufacturing practices, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives within the supply chain and operational workflows.
Experience & Education Qualifications:
Expertise:
Minimum: 20 – 25 Years in Operations planning and scheduling multiple projects with a proven track record of delivering results. Experienced in using MRP software.
Preferred:
15+ years of industry and regional related experience in in Operations planning and scheduling multiple projects..
Minimum Qualification:
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, (Master’s degree.
Preferred :
Fluent in English.
Experienced in Demand and Operations planning and SAP user in Business Planning.
