Minimum Roles and Responsibilities but not limited to will be as follows.

  • To take all precautions to protect the environment.
  • Work in such manner as to ensure self-safety as well as that of co-worker’s safety in well covered with.
  • Avail themselves of company internal and any other required training programs as and when required by the management.
  • Shall participate in the daily toolbox talks and follow the instruction from the site coordinators/crew leaders.
  • Use and maintain all safety devices provided for executions of job as delegated.
  • Maintain and properly use all tools under their control & to use right tools for the Job.
  • Report for work in clothing suitable for work, and in such a manner that clothes, and jewelry worn will not constitute a hazard.
  • Perform the work in a safe and alert manner and be aware of the possibility of unseen dangers or situations.
  • Are not expected to sacrifice their own or other’s Safety to perform their duties.
  • Keep clean work Area & maintain Housekeeping.
  • Perform Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing using liase with approved procedural requirements.
  • Shall be able to perform Hardness Testing, PMI and Ferrite upon receiving the equipment familiarization training and training on Procedural/Code requirements.
  • Able to identify the technique used is as per the requirement.
  • Able to perform necessary calibrations and demonstrations as per the project specific approved procedures.
  • Shall verify the joint details as per the request provided by client.
  • Shall be able to classify the indications that are from actual discontinuities, weld geometry.
  • Able to interpret the specific code requirements related to applicable NDT method UT, MT and PT.
  • Able to interpret the sensitivity requirements and evaluate the indications as per the acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare final UT, MT and PT reports as per the approved report formats.
  • Shall maintain the equipment along with accessories by regular cleaning and to be kept safe after the completion of activity.
  • Shall maintain the necessary calibration certificates on file and to notify the office on expiry of the same priorly.
  • Able to perform the inspection activities as per project scope and site condition to avoid waiting & wastage of resources.

Accountabilities:

  • Shall be able to Perform film interpretation of Piping and Pipeline welds as per ASME B31.3 and API 1104 and ASME Sec V.
  • Able to perform required densitometer calibrations and demonstrations as per the project specific approved procedures.
  • Prepare final radiographic examination reports as per the approved report formats.
  • Shall submit the timesheets on time and revert the approved timesheets to the office on time as per the management guidelines.

Minimum Qualification Requirement:

PCN Level II in RTFI with minimum 3years experience post PCN certification
