Job Description:

The Microsoft Security Architect will play a critical consulting role, guiding and educating the client on the integration and technical architecture requirements for the entire Microsoft security stack. This architect will validate the scope of work, project plan, and SOW, but will also serve as a trusted advisor, educating the client on best practices, security strategies, and solutions. The architect will be responsible for consulting on technologies such as Entra ID, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Purview DLP, Zero Trust, MFA, and secrets management solutions. The architect will guide the client through the decision-making process, providing insights into how these technologies can best be integrated and aligned with the clients business goals and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with the client to understand their business needs and security objectives, offering expert advice on the Microsoft security stack.
• Validate and ensure the proposed security architecture aligns with industry best practices, compliance requirements, and client goals.
• Guide the client on the integration of Zero Trust, MFA, DLP, and Information Protection within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Educate the client on the AD to Entra ID migration strategy, ensuring they understand the benefits and considerations of transitioning from on-premises AD to Entra ID.
• Lead discussions and consultations on secrets management integration with CyberArk or HashiCorp, ensuring the solution aligns with the broader security architecture.
• Provide strategic direction, offering consultative recommendations for securing the organization’s Microsoft environment, with a focus on scalability and compliance.
• Present and educate the client on best practices for MFA, DLP, and Information Protection solutions.
• Guide the client through the process of adopting a Zero Trust architecture, explaining its value and the necessary changes to their security model.
