Position Overview:

We are seeking a Manager, Media & Digital to oversee the paid media function and manage a team that includes a Media and Strategy Manager, a Performance Marketing Manager, and a Media Analyst. This role is crucial for maximizing the value of marketing dollars spent and driving innovation within the company. The role reports to the Vice President of Marketing Operations and Activations and works across the Marketing and Retail Group stakeholders and management to drive the paid media strategy and plans across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the overall paid media strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage relationships with media agencies, suppliers, digital publishers, and innovation partners to secure the best deals and partnerships.
  • Implement new tools and technologies to enhance media buying, planning, and performance.
  • Establish policies, processes, and best practices to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the paid media domain.
  • Build and develop capabilities across the Marketing Group and Retail functions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Optimize the use of scale and economy in all media activities to drive value and maximize ROI.
  • Oversee the execution of media campaigns, ensuring they meet performance targets and deliver measurable results.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on media performance to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of media professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in media planning and buying, with a strong focus on both digital and traditional media.
  • Proven experience in the retail or consumer industry, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.
  • Strong relationships with media suppliers, digital publishers, and innovation partners in the Middle East region.
  • Extensive knowledge of media buying tools, ad serving technologies, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and optimize media performance.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies and plans clearly.
  • Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
