Job Description

The Key Account Manager plays a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and optimizing value from these partnerships. This position is integral to driving business growth by managing and nurturing relationships with major clients while identifying opportunities to expand the account and introduce new products or services. The individual in this role works closely with various internal teams, facilitating communication between the client and the company, and is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty. With a focus on strategic management, the Key Account Manager is expected to deliver personalized solutions to clients, anticipate their needs, and act as the main point of contact to build trust and long-lasting relationships that drive revenue and business success.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with key clients to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the company, addressing any issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored solutions that meet the critical requirements of key clients.
  • Identify and work on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Conduct regular meetings with key clients to review their requirements and expectations.
  • Monitor the market and competitors to develop strategies for cultivating new business opportunities.
  • Ensure client feedback is effectively communicated to relevant departments and acted upon promptly.
  • Prepare detailed reports on account status, including client satisfaction, risks, and opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and finalize agreements to streamline operations and close deals.
  • Handle inquiries from key accounts, providing them with informational support and solutions.
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives and client needs.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to exceed annual sales targets and increase revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow client accounts and increase client satisfaction.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office suite needed for daily tasks.
  • Capability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend business events.
