Job Description

The HVAC Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, maintaining, and improving heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential, commercial, and industrial spaces. This professional is responsible for creating efficient, sustainable environments by employing their skills in HVAC system design, installation, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities

• Design energy-efficient HVAC systems tailored for client-specific needs and requirements.
• Analyze and interpret HVAC system schematics and blueprints for proper implementation.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for HVAC system projects.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC systems promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly.
• Maintain accurate, complete project documentation and reports for record-keeping.
• Provide guidance and training to HVAC technicians and junior engineers.
• Perform regular system inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems.
• Implement innovative HVAC solutions to enhance system performance and sustainability.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely project completion within budget constraints.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in designing and installing HVAC systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or HVAC certifications are highly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, airflow dynamics, and thermodynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team-oriented mindset.
