Job Description

As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring that financial practices are aligned with statutory regulations and company objectives. You will lead a highly skilled team to execute financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing accurate financial reporting, budget management, tax compliance, and developing internal control policies. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure the preparation and communication of accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Manage budgeting processes and forecast future financial performance and needs.
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial policies and controls.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner to management.
  • Support management by providing financial insights to enhance strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Monitor the financial performance of the company and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring optimized returns and adherence to laws.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
  • Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure efficient audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or equivalent accounting leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statutory regulations and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional proficiency with financial management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to manage and motivate a finance team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present financial insights to stakeholders.
