As a Financial Analyst in our organization, you will play a key role in supporting strategic financial decision-making through comprehensive analysis and reporting. As part of our team in Abu Dhabi, youll work in an ONSITE environment and collaborate closely with various departments to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and compliance with best financial practices.
Responsibilities
Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial statements, performance reports, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and manage potential risks.
Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Develop and maintain robust financial models to forecast company performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and support the budgeting process.
Budgeting and Planning: Assist with budget creation, monitoring, and management to ensure alignment with strategic and financial goals.
Investment Analysis: Conduct due diligence and provide recommendations on acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate market, credit, and operational financial risks.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with relevant regulations and reporting requirements, particularly IFRS.
Communication and Presentation: Prepare and deliver clear financial analysis and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
Reporting & Controlling: Prepare management presentations and reports using group headquarters’ inputs and oversee consolidated group reporting via platforms such as Tagetik. Handle ESG reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end updates.
Year-End Closing & Audit: Support technical accounting activities for year-end financial closing and assist local and group audit processes.
Corporate Tax: Assist with local and group tax return filings and related consultations.
Group Reporting Requirements (ICOFR): Support implementation and quarterly updates of internal controls over financial reporting.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Maintain and update project lists, prepare sales and EBIT forecasts, coordinate annual budgeting, and manage quarterly planning updates.
Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance: Identify and report operational and financial risks per internal guidelines, and conduct internal ISO audits annually.
Requirements for the Role
5–8 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, planning, or reporting functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Masters or advanced degree is preferred.
Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA are considered a strong plus.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, highlight trends, and provide actionable insights.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis; advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Experience with financial platforms such as Tagetik and CONSO, as well as reporting databases and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings concisely to various stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in addressing and resolving complex financial issues.
Thorough understanding of IFRS and accounting principles, with experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance.
Familiarity with the UAE economic, business, and regulatory environment.
Highly organized, disciplined, structured, and deadline-driven with an ability to work effectively under pressure.
