Job Description

The Finance Administrator plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing an organization’s financial operations. This position is integral to maintaining the financial health of the company by ensuring accurate and comprehensive financial reporting and compliance. As a Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for managing budget processes, financial reporting, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll activities. You will serve as a key link between financial performance and the strategic direction of the organization, offering your expertise in forecasting and budgeting to guide executive decisions. This role requires a high degree of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and guidelines for the organization.
  • Oversee and manage the company’s daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping tasks.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with in-depth analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all transactions.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and financial opportunities.
  • Coordinate and manage budget preparation processes, including forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Process payroll and ensure all employee compensations are timely and accurate.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable to maintain positive cash flow.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or irregularities found in financial documentation.
  • Work with external auditors during audits and prepare required financial documents.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements for financial processes and systems.
  • Provide financial advice and support to management on business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting position for at least three years.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software applications, including Excel and accounting packages.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under stringent deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
