Job Description

An F&B Executive plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of food and beverage services within an establishment. This position is pivotal for ensuring that customers have memorable dining experiences, thanks to impeccable service and high-quality food offerings. The F&B Executive is responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, orchestrating menus, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. They must balance customer satisfaction with business profitability by using creative and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational skills, and a deep passion for the hospitality industry. They will work closely with other department heads to optimize the F&B department's performance and drive continuous improvement.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage department effectively.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and address any customer complaints promptly.
  • Collaborate with chefs to design and update menus regularly.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as required to prevent shortages.
  • Manage staffing schedules to optimize service and reduce labor costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all operations.
  • Monitor the financial performance of the F&B department to meet budget goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss departmental goals and performance.
  • Train and develop staff to ensure a high level of professionalism and service.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to promote F&B events and offers effectively.
  • Analyze customer feedback and use insights to enhance service quality.
  • Implement innovative strategies to improve efficiency and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the F&B industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene legislation.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Profound understanding of profit and loss calculations and business management principles.
  • Degree in hospitality management or related field is highly preferred.
