Job Description

An Electrical Procurement Manager plays a vital role in a company's supply chain, specializing in sourcing and purchasing electrical equipment and components. Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement budgets to achieve financial objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee the evaluation and selection process for potential new suppliers to enhance supply chain resilience.
  • Utilize procurement software tools to streamline processes and improve data accuracy and reporting.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and inventory management of electrical materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on electrical components.
  • Strong negotiation skills with proven experience in contract management and supplier relations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical products, engineering specifications, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools; SAP or Oracle experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in team management and development.
