Digital Transformation Consultant - Banking

The Digital Transformation Consultant – Banking will lead and support strategic digital initiatives aimed at modernizing banking operations, enhancing customer experience, and improving operational efficiency. The role involves advising financial institutions on the adoption of new technologies, digital platforms, and process redesigns aligned with regulatory and industry standards in the UAE. The consultant will work closely with senior stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities, develop roadmaps, and manage end-to-end implementation of digital solutions that meet evolving business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess existing banking processes, systems, and digital maturity to identify transformation opportunities.

• Develop and deliver digital transformation strategies that align with business goals and compliance requirements.

• Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of digital platforms such as mobile banking, CRM, RPA, AI, and blockchain.

• Collaborate with IT, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.

• Conduct market research and benchmarking to propose innovative digital solutions and best practices.

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and meetings to gather requirements and ensure alignment.

• Develop transformation roadmaps with clear milestones, KPIs, and resource plans.

• Monitor and report on project progress, managing risks and ensuring timely delivery of initiatives.

• Ensure all transformation initiatives adhere to UAE banking regulations, cybersecurity standards, and data privacy laws.

• Train and support internal teams during change management and adoption phases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field; MBA or relevant certification preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital transformation within the banking or financial services sector.

• Strong knowledge of UAE banking regulations and digital compliance frameworks.

• Proven experience with digital tools such as core banking systems, cloud platforms, and fintech integrations.

• Excellent project management skills with experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
