The opportunity

Core 42 is looking for an innovative, insightful, and strategic Senior Engineer - Cloud Migration to design and oversee the development of secure, scalable, and reliable cloud architecture that integrates generative AI, cybersecurity, and professional & managed services into large-scale digital transformation solutions for the public sector and large-enterprises. To lead and innovate in a dynamic and vast cloud environment, leveraging the latest in AIdriven technologies to drive digital transformation initiatives at a global scale.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of the cloud architecture for public sector and large enterprise digital transformation projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI, cybersecurity, and professional & managed services into the cloud platform
• Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices for cloud-based applications and services
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams in implementing cloud solutions
• Drive innovation in cloud technologies to optimize performance, cost, and security
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to influence the strategic direction of the cloud platform
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements in all cloud architecture designs
  
  

• Required skills / qualifications
• Extensive experience in architecting large-scale cloud solutions
• Strong understanding of generative AI, cybersecurity, and cloud computing principles
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills
• Deep understanding of public sector and large enterprise digital transformation needs
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Relevant cloud architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect)
• 8+ years of general experience in IT architecture and software development
• 5+ years of specific experience in architecting cloud solutions for public sector and large enterprise digital transformation initiatives
