Job Description

An Assistant to the CEO plays a critical role in supporting the chief executive officer in efficiently leading and managing the organization. This position is pivotal in ensuring that the CEO’s vision and strategies are effectively translated into actionable plans. The assistant is responsible for the smooth running of the CEO’s office, providing administrative support, managing schedules, and acting as a bridge between the CEO and other departments or stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to multitask are essential in this role, as well as a proactive and strategic mindset to anticipate the needs of the CEO.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the CEO effectively.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and agenda materials as required.
  • Assist in planning and executing company events and executive off-sites.
  • Collaborate with other executive assistants to streamline administrative processes.
  • Manage correspondence and communication on behalf of the CEO with discretion.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders accurately.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support the CEO’s decision-making process.
  • Ensure the CEO is briefed and prepared for meetings and conferences.
  • Oversee projects assigned by the CEO and ensure timely completion.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and executives in the organization.
  • Handle confidential information in a sensitive and professional manner.
  • Provide support on personal and professional matters as needed by the CEO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in supporting C-level executives preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and executive scheduling software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
