Job Description
The Biology Department at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor position in Forensic Biology. UAEU is the nation’s premier university, dedicated to excellence in education, research, and community engagement. We seek a highly motivated and qualified individual with a strong background in forensic biology and a demonstrated commitment to research, teaching, and service. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our forensic biology program and contribute to the academic mission of the department. Key Responsibilities - Conduct cutting-edge research in forensic biology with the potential to secure external funding. - Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate-level courses in forensic biology and related areas. - Supervise and mentor students in research projects and theses. - Actively participate in curriculum development and departmental service.
Minimum Qualification
Qualifications - A Ph.D. in Forensic Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a closely related field. - A proven track record of high-quality post-doctoral research. - Evidence of success in securing competitive research grants. - Demonstrated excellence in teaching and student engagement at the university level. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
