Job Description

We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Ultimately, you will provide

us with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable entries.
  • Organize and manage financial documents, invoices, receipts, and other relevant paperwork.
  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, according to UAE and international accounting standards.
  • Generate regular financial reports and analyses to provide insights into the organization's financial performance.
  • Prepare budget forecasts
  • Publish financial statements in time
  • Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations and requirements, including VAT (Value Added Tax) filings and other relevant tax obligations.
  • Prepare and submit accurate tax returns and supporting documentation.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Analyze financial data, trends, and performance indicators to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Assist in making informed financial decisions based on analysis results.
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Assist with the preparation of financial documentation and support during internal and external audits.
  • Address auditor inquiries and provide necessary information.
  • Utilize accounting software and tools to manage financial transactions, generate reports, and maintain accurate records.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are often preferred.
  • Familiarity with UAE accounting standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Tally).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound financial judgments.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and tax compliance is a plus.
