Job Description

  • Install, repair, and maintain various plumbing fixtures and systems, including sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, and water conditioners
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of plumbing equipment, including water supply systems, sewer pumps, and drainage networks
  • Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems, including cleaning fat traps, soil pipes, and roof-level ventilation and rainwater outlets
  • Review building plans and specifications to determine plumbing layouts and material requirements
  • Install supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring proper positioning and functionality
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to execute preventive and annual maintenance programs
  • Adhere to all safety rules, local building codes, and regulations while performing job duties
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues efficiently and effectively
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with property occupants or clients
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Stay updated on the latest plumbing technologies and best practices

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sewage systems
  • Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and safely
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment specific to plumbing work
  • Thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance related to plumbing
  • Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations in Baghdad, Iraq
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer service and team collaboration
