UGC Video Editor Social Media Ads

Overview

We are seeking a creative and experienced Video Editor to produce high-performing User Generated Content (UGC)-style video content for both social media ads and organic platforms. This role involves storytelling-driven editing, optimizing videos for various placements, and supporting campaign concepts alongside a creative team. The position offers a mix of scheduled collaboration and flexible asynchronous work hours.

Schedule:

• Total Hours: 35–40 hours per week
• Core Hours: 5–10 hours of meetings per week aligned with Los Angeles (PST/PDT) time zone (ideally clustered into 2–3 days)
• Flex Time: 30–35 hours of asynchronous work completed during your preferred hours

Responsibilities

• Edit UGC-style video content for social media ads and organic platforms
• Incorporate storytelling, pacing, and visuals to maximize engagement and conversions
• Collaborate with the creative team to bring campaign concepts to life
• Optimize video content for different platforms, formats, and ad placements
• Support design needs with static graphics when required
• Maintain organized project files and deliver high-quality edits on schedule

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of social media content (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
• Strong understanding of UGC-style content, social media trends, and engagement tactics
• Bonus skills in static graphic design (Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools)
• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
