Manager - Transportation And Customs Operations

Responsibilities / Tasks

 Responsible to Maintain the Statutory Registers and Records for EOU units.

 Ensure Import Pre-shipment documents compliance checks as per FTP.

 Bank Guarantee and Continuity Bond, Customs License (MEIS, AA) awareness.

 Obtaining approval from KSEZ / Range for Re-Exports for EOU units.

 Capable to answer customs queries if any.

 Overview of Import /Export documents compliance check before the orders move from

overseas (SIMS, NFMIMS, BIS etc.)

 Maintain approval for Sub-Contractors and Renewal process files as per EOU norms.

 Ensure all EOU compliances met as per the customs rule of EOU.

 Good knowledge in SOFTEX process (PO verification, MPR Filing timely filing)

 Ensure HNS allocations and timely actions as per the FTP.

 Good Knowledge in SVB and PD bonds.

 Hands on experience in EOU compliance operations (import/export)

 Capable to handle IDPMS/EDPMS/FEMA escalations.

 Good knowledge in Govt incentives (DBK, RoDTEP) & cross-country trade business.

 BIS awareness and trade knowledge.

 Capable to handle Shipping & projects movements (International and Domestic)

 Sensible to handle customs litigations.

Your Profile / Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in commerce / Logistics / Supply Chain or Relevant Fields

 Min. 10-12 years of experience in handling Export /Imports (EOU, DTA & Project operations)

 Good verbal and written communication skills.

 English and Hindi (proficient)

 MS office like Excel, PPT presentation & PowerPoint, Word (Proficient)

 Good in team handling & motivation.

 Good interpersonal relation development skill.

 Proactive in nature to anticipate potential delays & issues and capable to handle the remote

locations in GEA India.
