We are looking for a passionate and organized individual to take on the role of Toys Coordinator. Specific Accountabilities
Toy Sorting & Quality Control: Implement an efficient system to sort toy donations promptly, ensuring only high-quality, functional toys are distributed.
Volunteer & Staff Support: Provide clear induction and ongoing communication to support volunteers and staff involved in the program.
Stock Management: Monitor and organize incoming toy donations to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Hamper Preparation: Assemble toy hampers that are age and gender appropriate for families.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other Toys and Tucker team members to ensure smooth program operations.
Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by following WHS practices and participating in safety activities.
About You
Well organised with an attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of toy categories i.e.: age and gender appropriate
Previous experience training and supervising volunteers highly regarded
Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) required
