BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible on the development of masterbatch products used in packaging, electronic appliances, consumer, agriculture, and industrial applications to fulfill customer requirements and generate business profitability.

Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Contributes to a safe work environment aligned with corporate standards and expectations.
• Performing masterbatch development following Accolade stages gate process / regional procedure. Conduct all duties according to SOP’s
• Support product development and product localization and monitor scale up process
• Carry out new product development projects, liaise with the extrusion lab team in case of any quality issue on the product to determine an action for solving the problem, perform analysis on samples from trial production
• Perform benchmark analysis on competition sample, provide an analysis report, and deliver to ADTS
• Support formula recipe adjustment and modification
• Carry out new raw materials evaluation, register for new/ change material into DQP
• Provide supporting documents such as a provisional technical data sheet on experimental data of new product
• Ensure retained samples are kept in good condition and ensure cleanliness of the laboratory and equipment
• Ensure effective R&D record traceability
  
  

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or degree in polymer and material science.
• Work Experience: Minimum 2 years working experiences in the related field is required for this position.
• Licenses & Certifications: Basic knowledge of ISO9001

• Conflict resolution and negotiation; settle disputes, and resolve conflicts
• Understand the principle of analytical instruments and know how to operate the lab instruments.
• Technical skills in knowledge of polymer/plastics extrusion, basic organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and flexible packaging application.
• Have a strong analytical thinking
• Ability to interpret analysis result, write routine correspondence effectively and to speak fluently with internal and external customers.
• Accountable, results-oriented, and self-motivated; open-minded to challenges
