IT Service LAN Operations Engineer

The role involves to co-manage campus wide spread IT infrastructure in Pune and work on various IT technologies. Participate in New project deployments, ensure IT compliances on various fronts and more.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

Manage Local Area Network (Wired and Wireless) support for Pune Campus and Other 3D3 offices in India

• Participate in LAN deployment projects happening across 3DS offices
• Upgrade IOS of the network switches on time-to-time basis to secure the switches from vulnerabilities
• Deploy, manage and support enterprise wireless network spread across the campuses
• Ensure configuration backup of the networking devices on regular basis
• Ensure the network devices are part of the monitoring setup and alerts are received for all possible failures
• Support other corporate functions to deploy services like CCTV surveillance, access control systems, BMS eto
• Coordinate with business leaders to understand and meet their expectations.
• Ensure SLA targets are achieved for assigned IT requests.
• Maintain all relevant Network related documentation on day to day basis
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in LAN infrastructure support
• BE/B Tech or equivalent degree in technical streams
• Professional certification such as CCNA
• Basic knowledge of Windows client OS required for end to end troubleshooting of network related issues
• Experience in managing enterprise network infrastructure is an advantage
• Working knowledge on Cisco networking gears
• Customer service oriented with good problem solving attitude
• Decent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player
• Flexible to work overtime and over the weekends when needed
• Additional duties may be assigned based on job role or organizational needs
