We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Workflow Technology Team in Shared Services Technology is running projects to implement workflow solutions for different business lines in Securities Services. The team aims to provide workflow orchestration tool for any non-system specific manual workflow activity for both human and robots across Markets & Securities Services by using not just the workflow product tool itself but also integrating with other latest technology like RPA, AI to improve efficiency of operations. Currently the workflow tool is serving 2K+ operation users and target to expand coverage to all Services business operation users ultimately under different initiatives, As part of those initiatives, we are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Agile Business Analyst.

In this role, you will:

In this role in India for workflow technology team, individual will work with internal stakeholders like business operations SMEs, technical PODs, IT Teams to deliver business process management (BPM)/ workflow solutions to business operations in Securities Services with best practices and align with organization standard & goals.

  • Responsible for the business analyst activities as part of the DevOps/Agile methodology delivering to all business needs and at the same time adhere to modernized products/ technologies such as API
  • Work cross-functionally with process owners and business SMEs to elicit requirements, analyze, design and develop business solutions with large complex business requirements.
  • To lead and deliver BPM/ AWD (Chorus) Product which are efficient, highly effective, of high-quality, and client-centric and accountable for ensuring the products and solutions meeting operation needs.
  • Convert elicited business requirements into actionable product requirements that feed the solutions to development team and ensuring the design of the product solutions are cost effective
  • Working with Ops Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues etc.) are resolved and that any design related issues are addressed in a timely manner
  • Responsible for ensuring solutions and projects delivered are aligned with the target architecture and roadmap, group standards and policies
  • Work in projects using Agile methodologies & DevOps approach with quality and sustainability.
  • Applying Agile principles to everyday work, and supporting agile focused culture.
  • Maintain right level of governance & control to ensure adherence to HSBC guidelines
  • Tracking of risks, issues & dependencies during implementations and escalates timely when as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • University degree in computer science, IT, commerce/Business or a related discipline.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in Business Process Management (BPM) analysis, design, build, modeling, and re-engineering
  • Solid knowledge of BPM/ AWD (Chorus) Product and solid experience of BPM/ AWD (Chorus) project implementation to business operations in financial services sector
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage stakeholders relationships with multiple business partners and departments.
  • Solid experiences and Agile & DevOps approach / experience.
  • Solid track record of process redesign, process change initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience of working across cultures in a global business context
  • Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, presentation, problem-solving, communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Ability to address both technical and business requirements in solving problems
  • Ability to work under pressure independently & proactively and meet deadlines
  • Being a team player with good inter-personal skills. Participate in team activities
  • Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge appropriately.
  • Assertive, with a positive attitude and an open mind
  • Flexibility operating in project mode and daily operations support mode depending on the stage of the project and will require flexibility in operating in either mode
  • Flexibility on working hours as required and to provide out of hours support for application releases during weekend / local holidays.
