Your role:

• Translating business and user requirements to product requirements.
• Developing the product verification strategy.
• Reviewing verification results to confirm product requirements are met.
• Identifying and mitigating areas of technical risk by following the product design FMEA process.
• Communication of V-model maturity during product development to management
  
  

You are a part of:

• Philips Oral Healthcare Systems Engineering team in the Innovation & Development department. You will be an important part of the Global New Product Development (NPD) core team, interacting with the Project Manager, Marketing Manager, Product Researcher and a variety of technical subject matter experts.
  
  

Youre the right fit if

• Minimum-Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Biomedical Engineering, Masters Degree (Desired)
• Minimum 6+ years’ experience in product development (experience in a regulated medical device/systems environment preferred)
• Knowledgeable in product Verification/Validation (V&V)
• Awareness/Experience in Technical Risk Assessment/FMEA
• Familiarity/Experience with Requirements management (Knowledge of using a RMS tool like DOORS or similar system is preferred)
• Experience in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methods/tools (Preferred)
