The primary objective of the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) specializing in One Identity Access Management is to ensure the seamless operation, reliability, and scalability of IAM systems within the organization. This role is critical in maintaining system integrity, optimizing performance, and enhancing security protocols to support the organizations identity management needs. The SRE will leverage their expertise to automate processes, improve system resilience, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust IAM solutions that align with business goals and compliance requirements. Through proactive monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives, the SRE will play a pivotal role in safeguarding sensitive information and facilitating efficient access management across the enterprise
Duties and Responsibilites.
- System Reliability and Performance:
- Monitor and ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of One Identity systems and services.
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards to track system metrics and identify potential issues proactively.
- Automation and Optimization:
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline IAM operations, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management.
- Optimize system configurations and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Incident Management and Response:
- Lead incident response efforts for IAM-related issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
- Implement strategies to minimize downtime and ensure rapid recovery in the event of system failures.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of IAM solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding system status, incidents, and improvements.
- Security and Compliance:
- Ensure IAM systems adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements, such as GDPR, SOX, and ISO 27001.
- Implement security controls and risk mitigation strategies to protect sensitive information.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improvement in system reliability and performance, and implement solutions to address them.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in IAM and site reliability engineering
Qualification
Candidate with 6-10 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in site reliability engineering, with a strong focus on IAM systems, particularly One Identity solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible) and monitoring platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Strong understanding of IAM protocols and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, SRE certifications, One Identity certifications) are highly desirable.
