Job Description

Defining, implementing and/or maintaining trade, export and customs compliance policies and guidelines for VISHAY organization. Defining and/or implementing monitoring processes to ensure compliance with regulations and internal guidelines. Monitoring the adherence to trade regulations, and deciding critical trade and export cases, as an escalation instance. Cooperating with authorities in order to clarify critical trade compliance cases. Acting as advisor in business excellence matters, for management in business, region or in functions. Conducting training for all employees related to export administration and coordination. A job at this level… Continuously monitors changes of relevant function-specific environment (e. g. , regulations, technologies, markets) and check risks. Systematically watches out for opportunities to improve the business or legal position in the market. Applies evaluation schemes, discusses results with other functional stakeholder, creates reports to prepare decision making. Plans and executes focused research to support adaption of standards and processes. Supports implementation projects or processes for systems, standards and guidelines. Performs independent judgement on subjects of relevance for the process assigned.
