JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Business Controller - Central Controlling _ISEA

Reports To: Head of Finance and Controlling Business Area India & Southeast Asia

Role Type : Individual Contributor

Location: Pune

Responsibilities:

ISEA Industrial Financial Reporting

• Contribute to the financial reporting for Industrial Region India & Southeast Asia (ISEA). This involves monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Participate and coordinate in the monthly outlook and business plan process for Industrial business, India & Southeast Asia Region
• Consolidation and compilation of various management reports (financial and non-financial) on a periodic and ad-hoc basis for through understanding of the business performance and analysis thereof to support/contribute to business decisions
• Publish structured communications and follow-up on timelines and guidance with business controllers.
• Maintain and follow-up on data requirements from the business controllers ISEA region
• Consolidate Manufacturing entities and complete IS14 - Industrial Region India & Southeast Asia financial statement monthly
• Consolidate, review, and analyse the forecast in Anaplan or in any other format used for the reporting purpose
• Cost level analysis for our own Manufacturing units to get the overview of operation at Industrial Region India & Southeast Asia
• Actual cost development analysis includes the Cost level at operational units as well as Industrial Region India & Southeast Asia level and SPDIV cost level development on monthly, quarterly, and annually
• Gross Profit analysis at consolidate level which includes Price / Mix, Volume, Currency, Inflation, and other COGS.
• Operating profit analysis at consolidate level which includes Gross profit analysis plus S&A analysis
• Actual vs Forecast Analysis showing comparison on month/quarter vs Forecast
• One pager sheet showing full year Forecast by quarter and YoY and sequential comparison
• Prepare ISEA level presentations for ISEA Business Controller – MMR, MBR,
• Monthly update of the Business Area’s consolidated financial reporting (Consolidated report of Automotive, Independent and Emerging Business, and Industrial Business)
• Prepare presentation for Town Hall and related communication of the Business Area performance
• Coordinate with Business Controllers from all Business Areas (Automotive, Independent and Emerging Business, and Industrial Business)
• Prepare ad-hoc reports when needed for the Business Area including support for Px, IT, Marketing and other support functions.
  
  

Investor Relations – SKF India Limited

• Analysing SKF India Financial Statements
• Preparing Presentations and FAQs for Earnings Call and other meetings with Investor Community.
• Preparing Presentations for Audit Committee and Board.
• Monitoring SKF India Limited Performance on a regular basis.
• Understanding and resolving matters impacting SKF India Statutory results.
• Prepare Business Plan for SKF India
• Perform Competition Analysis and monitor competition performance.
  
  

MANUFACTURING FUNCTION

• Consolidation of weekly pulse reports from manufacturing units in ISEA region.
• Collate results for all factories from Business Planning and Consolidation tool.
• Preparation of monthly analytical reports
• Track the key performance indicators vs plan and follow up on variations
  
  

WORKING CAPITAL MANAGEMENT

• Responsible for the reporting of Net Working Capital (‘NWC’) performance and related reports.
• To coordinate NWC related activities and reports with the relevant stakeholders in the business and local units
• Track and analyse accounts payable ageing
  
  

INternal control and internal audits

• Understand overall Internal Control and audit plan for the year
• Follow up on Internal Control and Audit issues
• Ensure all stakeholders are resolving all the issues in a time bound manner.
  
  

Responsible for Monthly reports

• Net Sales Bridge
• Gross Profit Bridge
• Operating Profit bridge
• Actual cost development analysis
• SPDIV cost level and Operating Margin % development
• Operating Cashflow report
• ROCE %
• Net working capital analysis
• Inventory analysis for Supply chain
• Manufacturing cost level
• Productivity details for Px
• Headcount reporting BPC vs PBI
• Bowler chart update
• Performance metrics update
• Any ad hoc reports necessary from time to time
  
  

Candidate Profile:

• Education and Experience: -MBA, CA, ICWA with 6+ years of experience
• Strong Business Controlling experience
• Strong Excel, Power Point, Power BI Skills required
• Good communication skills, strong networking skills, good influencing skills
• Showing integrity and courage to challenge in a constructive way
